Welcome to the Santa Fe Capitals/Bluejackets Hockey 2025-2026 season!

Yes, we don't have ice yet. And we expect the season to be delayed by a week or two. Current projection is Nov 1st.  If our season is significantly delayed, we will do a pro-rated refund of registration fees. 

Currently we are working on preseason dryland/roller hockey practices.  More info on that to come soon.  We are also trying to get some weekend ice time at the Outpost or the MAC. If/When those happen, the cost will be covered by regular registration fees.

We are dedicated to building the sport of hockey in Santa Fe. Santa Fe Hockey is a developmental coed program serving the youth of our community from ages five to eighteen.  We hope to share the love of hockey with as many New Mexico youth as we can.

We continue to welcome never-ever skaters as well as returning skaters. We'd love to have you come skate with us.

Last year we had tremendous growth of our program, and we hope to build on that this year. We recognize that hockey is an investment and are expanding our  fundraising plan in order to make hockey accessible to as many Santa Fe youth as possible. 

Thanks to last year’s all association fundraiser, as well as support from our generous sponsors, we are able to keep your costs the same as last year. Last season’s fundraising efforts also covered additional tournament fees at all levels, added a small scholarship program, and made it possible to offer deferred payment plans to families.  

Practice Schedule

Game Jerseys

In addition to registration fees, each player is required to have a game jersey and socks. This year we are using Squad Locker as a convenient and affordable way to get your new jerseys, socks and other swag. Players who order a “NEW” jersey for the 2025-2026 season will have their name printed on it!

All preseason requests for numbers have been processed and are loaded into the Squad Locker Store.  At the end of the registration process you will get access to the store links, and directions to order your player's jersey and socks.

Returning players with jerseys that still fit may continue to use them for the coming season If you need a replacement jersey, and don't see your name in the squad locker store, contact Sarah Miller via text at (505) 603-4560.

New players, or players who need new sizes, will need to order jerseys and socks from Squad Locker. after registering, contact Board Member Sarah Miller via text  at (505) 603-4560 to get a number assigned to your player and linked in Squad Locker.

The club also has some gear for small players. We are planning a preseason equipment swap in October.  Stay tuned for more details on that.

Scholarship Program

SFHA is committed to Sports Equity and making hockey accessible. Due to the support of our sponsors and our annual fundraiser we will have a scholarship available at each team level for the 2025-2026 season. Volunteer Requirements

We are an all volunteer Board running the hockey club, while  it’s a lot of fun, it’s  a real commitment. Our coaches & team managers are all volunteers as well and we couldn’t be the City of Santa Fe’s only coed  youth club  without their incredible support. Consider joining us as a volunteer: To do so, email us  at registration@santafehockey.com. 
We need support with;

• Administration: club management
• Development: managing sponsorships for the club & fundraising
• Event planning: community outreach, scheduling
• Games: locker room management, running sound and scoreboard

Season Start & Practice Dates

We anticipate our season starting November 1, and will release start dates and practice times as the repairs at the rink are completed.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the Hockey Season. Your 2024 number will not work, you will need a 2025 USA Hockey number.

This registration number for USA Hockey provides liability insurance for both your player, and our hockey club. 

• Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
• Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
